Day 1 Australia - Entebbe, Uganda
Today depart from Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide or Perth for Entebbe, Uganda. Fly with award winning airlines such as Etihad Airways, Emirates, Qatar Airways or South African Airways to name a few (subject to  availability). Meals included: In-Flight

Day 2 Welcome to Entebbe, Uganda 
Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, be met by a representative and transferred to the hotel.
Overnight: Boma Guest House, Entebbe
Meals included: None 

Day 3 Kampala - Murchison Falls National Park (approx. 300km day)
After breakfast, depart for Murchison Falls National Park. Along the way enjoy Uganda’s beautiful countryside. Upon arrival check into the lodge. Take the opportunity to join an optional tour to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary (not included) and get up close to these beautiful animals. Alternatively, enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure in the lodge, situated on the Nile River. Overnight: Murchison River Lodge, Murchison Falls National Park

Day 4 Murchison Falls National Park - Game Drive and River Cruise
Enjoy breakfast before heading out on a morning game drive in Murchison Falls National Park. The Murchison Falls Conservation Area, which is about 7,000 sq. km in size, is the largest in Uganda. It consists of Murchison Falls National Park, Karuma Game Reserve and Bugungu Game Reserve among others. It is a stunning habitat for wildlife, birds and vegetation. Crocodiles, hippos, elephants and birds including the rare shoebill stork, can be found on the banks of the Nile. With over 1000 chimpanzees in Budongo and Kaniyo Pabidi Forests, Murchison is thought to have the largest chimp numbers in the region. Return to the lodge for lunch and then depart for an afternoon river cruise to the bottom of the mighty Murchison Falls. The launch trip to the bottom of the Falls, lasting about 3 hours, is unforgettable – look for birds, elephants, buffalos, crocodiles and hippos on the banks of the Nile.

Day 5 Murchison Falls National Park - Fort Portal - Kibale National Park (approx. 315km day) 
This morning you will begin your journey to Kibale National Park via Fort Portal; a vibrant local community with a bustling marketplace. Check into the Chimpanzee Forest Guest House and enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure in these wonderful lodgings overlooking the vast forests and lush vegetation below. Overnight: Chimpanzee Forest Guest House, Kibale National Park

Day 6 Kibale Forest National Park - Chimpanzee Tracking - Bigodi Wetlands
Wake up to the sounds of nature and enjoy breakfast before going chimpanzee tracking to get up close and personal with these amazing animals. Trekking lasts between 2-4 hours. This afternoon, visit the Bigodi Wetlands; home to multiple primate species, mammals, over 200 bird species, many reptiles and a large variety of endemic flora. Overnight: Chimpanzee Forest Guest House, Kibale National Park

Day 7 Kibale Forest National Park - Queen Elizabeth National Park (Mweya Sector) - River Cruise (approx. 100km day)

After breakfast, depart for Queen Elizabeth National Park. Arrive in the afternoon and be rewarded with a cruise on the Kazinga Channel; a 32km long natural channel connecting Lake Gorge and Lake Edward. The shores of this channel draw a large number of wild animals, birds and reptiles throughout the year. It has one of the largest populations of hippos in the world as well as a large number of Nile crocodiles. Overnight: Ihamba Lakeside Safari Lodge, Queen Elizabeth National Park (Mweya Sector)

Day 8 Queen Elizabeth National Park, (Mweya Sector - Ishasha Sector) - Game Drive
Enjoy breakfast before heading out for a game drive through the Ishasha Sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park. Drive along tracks dotted with Acacia trees in the open Savannah plains. You can hope to see huge buffalo herds and numerous antelopes. There are also a number of elephants that have actually settled within the Ishasha area, also keep an eye out for hippos. This region offers a feeling that you are on safari by yourself.
Overnight: Ishasha Jungle Lodge, Queen Elizabeth National Park (Ishasha Sector)

Day 9 Queen Elizabeth National Park - Game Drive - Bwindi Impenetrable National Park (approx. 250km day)
This morning, go for a morning game drive to see the infamous ‘tree climbing lions’ of Queen Elizabeth National Park. Found only in Queen Elizabeth National Park and also in Tanzania, these lions are frequently spotted hanging on branches of huge fig trees in the Southern sector of the National Park. You will notice that the males of these exceptional prides have black manes! Have lunch on route (not included) and then transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Overnight: Travelers Rest Hotel, Kisoro

Day 10 Gorilla Tracking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park 
Today, tick off gorilla tracking from your bucket list! With gorilla permits included, a guide and porters who will carry your shoulder pack, set off to the thick forest in search of gorillas. The terrain can be difficult, with steep slopes covered in dense vegetation that gives the park its name. In addition, the altitude of 5200 feet and more means participants do need to be reasonably fit. The time taken to track the gorillas will vary enormously, from as little as half an hour to as much as 8-9 hours before one returns to camp. It is definitely not impossible and coming face to face with these amazing primates will reward you. For those not wishing to participate, you are welcome to relax at the lodge and enjoy the day at leisure. Overnight: Travelers Rest Hotel, Kisoro Meals included: Breakfast;Lunch

Day 11 Bwindi Impenetrable National Park - Lake Mburo National Park - Game Drive (approx. 270km day)
This morning, take the opportunity to visit the Pygmy Villages (not included) and experience their lifestyle.  Alternatively, relax at the lodge before transferring to Lake Mburo National Park where you will check in and go for an evening game drive. The network of game tracks in the east of the park passes a variety of landscape features; acacia woodland, wetlands, grassy hillsides, rock outcrops and seasonally flooded valley floors.
Overnight: Mburo Eagle’s Nest, Lake Mburo National Park

Day 12 Game Drive - Lake Mburo National Park - Kampala (approx. 230km day)
This morning enjoy a morning game drive in Lake Mburo National Park before beginning the journey back to Entebbe. Enjoy the evening at leisure.Overnight: Boma Guest House, Entebbe

Day 13 Entebbe, Uganda - Australia
