Day 1 Australia - Christchurch, New Zealand
Today depart from either Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide or *Perth for Christchurch. Fly with Air New Zealand. Upon arrival, a representative will greet you at the airport and transfer you to the hotel.

Day 2 Christchurch - Mt Cook - Omarama (approx. 315kms)
After a brief tour of Christchurch, cross the Canterbury Plains to Lake Tekapo. Stop to view the Church of the Good Shepherd and the Collie Dog Memorial before visiting Mt Cook National Park with its 70,000 hectares of breathtaking alpine scenery and then travelling on to Omarama. Overnight: Heritage Gateway Hotel or similar, Omarama

Day 3 Omarama - Arrowtown - Queenstown (approx. 171kms)
Begin the ascent over the Lindis Pass to the township of Cromwell and continue on to Arrowtown. This historic village was once a haven for the gold prospectors of the 1860s and features a fascinating collection of mining cottages. Travel onto Queenstown, one of New Zealand’s most popular holiday destinations - the city is set on the shores of Lake Wakatipu, against the dramatic Southern Alps. Tonight ride the Skyline Gondola to the top of Bob’s Peak where both the dining and the views are unsurpassed. Overnight: Novotel Queenstown Lakeside or similar

Day 5 Queenstown - Laka Wanaka - Franz Josef (approx. 351kms)

This morning depart Queenstown for Franz Josef. Enroute stop at Lake Wanaka, a picture postcard resort on the lakes edge with a spectacular mountain backdrop. View the untouched wilderness and pristine lakes of the Mt Aspiring and Westland National Parks before arriving on the wild and rugged West Coast, home to the twin glaciers of Fox and Franz Josef. Overnight: Scenic Hotel or similar, Franz Josef

Day 6 Franz Josef - TranzAlpine Train Experience - Christchurch
Today you will travel back to Christchurch along the way you will stop to visit a Pounamu (Jade) factory. Later you will board the famous TranzAlpine train. Renowned as one of the most scenic train journeys in the world, this coast to coast rail adventure will take you through the Southern Alps, over massive viaducts, river valleys and gorges to Christchurch (approx. 5 hour train journey). Overnight: Sudima Airport Hotel or similar, Christchurch

Day 7 Christchurch - Auckland – Begin 10 Night Royal Caribbean Auckland to Sydney Cruise

Day 14 Dusky Sound - 8:00am to 9:00am / Doubtful Sound – 11:00am to 12:00pm / Milford Sound - 4.30pm to 6pm
Today you will sail through the stunning Dusky, Doubtful and Milford Sounds. Dusky Sound is part of New Zealand’s Fiorland National Park - it has a dramatic coastline that edges a mountainous wilderness. Next you will sail through Doubtful Sound and experience the grand scenery and tranquility of this magnificent fjord. Doubtful
Sound sustains an amazing array of wildlife. Finally Milford Sound, where Maori believed a divine mason carved Milford Sound.
