Day 1: Sunday 27 May 2018 - Toowoomba to Townsville

Depart Toowoomba mid-morning and transfer to Brisbane West Wellcamp Airport for an Air North flight to Townsville. In the afternoon, depart Townsville and travel the Bruce Highway through Ingham and Cardwell to beautiful Mission Beach. Check in to your absolute beach front accommodation then relax over a delicious meal in the restaurant. Meals: LD

Day 2: Monday 28 May 2018 - Mission Beach and Cruising

This morning, see Australia's tropical wildlife in its natural habitat inclduing one of the oldest and most awesome predators on earth - the saltwater crocodile. Venture into a unique eco-systems in the World Heritage listed Rainforest Rivers and discover how to catch the worlds famous Queensland Mud Crab. Tour Guide Cole will give insightful commentary about the river and its wildlife along the way. Return to Mission Beach for lunch before boarding the Mission Beach Water Taxi for "Fozzy’s 3 Island Cruise", a fantastic way to visit the beautiful islands in comfort. The Family Group of Islands are not only breathtakingly beautiful but hold very interesting tales. See Timana, Kumboola and Bedarra Island and learn interesting facts, local history and a little folklore. Meals: BLD

Day 3: Tuesday 29 May 2018 - Chocolates, Rainforest and Castles

Spend the morning exploring the beach or relaxing at the resort before a visit to Charley’s chocolate Factory – if you love chocolate this is definitely the tour for you! Charley’s Chocolate Tour is unique in Australia and one of few places in the world where you can experience the whole journey of chocolate, from “Cocoa Tree to Chocolate Bar”. Charley’s chocolatiers are passionate about their craft and will share the fascinating and delicious chocolate story. After lunch, depart for one of Tropical North Queensland’s newest attractions, the Mamu Tropical Sky Walk. Take a walk in the clouds on elevated walkways, a cantilever bridge, and observation tower which offer visitors an exhilarating rainforest canopy experience. Next, visit Paronella Park for a guided tour to learn how José Paronella’s dream of building a castle became a reality. Situated on 5 Hectares beside Mena Creek Falls, José's castle is surrounded by over 7,500 tropical plants and trees. Dinner tonight will be at nearby Mena Creek Hotel, then return to Paronella Park for a "Darkness Falls" tour. See the park come to life with the use of flood lighting on many of the Park's highlights (courtesy of the restored hydro electric generator!). This allows for some incredible photo opportunities. Meals: BLD

Day 4: Wednesday 30 May 2018 - Mission Beach to Cairns

Sadly we must leave our Tropical Paradise and continue north to Tropical Cairns. Depart Mission Beach and make our way to beautiful Josephine Falls. The falls are a result of rains falling on Queensland’s highest peak, Mount Bartle Frere, which looms above this popular picnic area. Time here to wander along the walking track through lush tropical rainforest to viewing decks overlooking Josephine Creek and Falls. From here, enjoy excellent views and opportunities for great photographs. From Josephine Falls it’s on to Cairns. Upon arrival you will be dropped off close to the Cairns Marina and City Centre, where you’ll have a few hours to explore the marina or city and enjoy some lunch. This afternoon re-board the coach for a sightseeing tour of Cairns, see Trinity Wharf and Inlet, the Cairns Casino, Cairns Botanical Gardens and the  foreshore development. Stop at St Monica’s Cathedral to admire the beautiful stained glass windows. Tonight, after dinner you may wish to stroll into town and take a look at the famous Cairns Night Markets. Meals: BD 

Day 5: Thursday 31 May 2018 - Trains, Mountains and Cableways

The Kuranda Scenic Railway is a famous mountain railway that winds its way along the scenic ranges from Cairns to Kuranda; the village in the rainforest. Rising from sea level to 328m, the journey to Kuranda offers spectacular waterfalls stunning views into Barron Gorge. The journey includes commentary which details the history of the railway's construction and the region. Upon reaching the village of Kuranda enjoy the rich assortment of interesting attractions and unique shopping experiences. Later, board the Skyrail Rainforest Cableway for the journey down the ranges. This cableway is a world first in environmental tourism and takes visitors on an incredible ride, high above the tropical rainforest canopy. Return to Cairns before a night out at Tjapukai, home to the Night Fire Experience. Enjoy welcome Canapes, a Didgeridoo Journey, Night Fire Dance, Fire-making Ceremony, Buffet Dinner and Fireside Farewell. Meals: BD

Day 6: Friday 1 June 2018 - Cairns – Brisbane – Toowoomba

Enjoy a leisurely morning  before a late morning transfer to Cairns Airport and Qantas flight to Brisbane. On arrival, a Stonestreets Coach will transfer the group back to Toowoomba. Meals BL
