Day 1: Monday 23 March 2020
Toowoomba/Brisbane – Melbourne

Passengers departing from Toowoomba will depart from the Stonestreets Travel depot and transfer to Wellcamp Airport for a flight with Air North. Passengers can also elect to fly Qantas ex Brisbane Airport (please nominate your departure location preference at time of booking).

On arrival in Melbourne, your coach crew will be waiting to collect you and transfer you to your first experience; the famous Melbourne Cricket Ground. Enjoy a delicious and refreshing sit-down meal with your new friends in the Hugh Trumble Cafe inside the MCG Members Reserve. Next, explore the inner sanctum of the MCG, stand on the hallowed turf and experience where legends play on a guided MCG tour. Witnessing the sheer scale and history of the MCG makes this one of the most entertaining of Melbourne's experiences, even for those who aren't Cricket buffs! After exploring the MCG, visit the National Sports Museum where you can wander through the galleries of Australia's sporting memorabilia including Cricket, Australian Football, Golf, Tennis and horse racing and more. Later, check in to your central Southbank accommodation at the Travelodge. This evening, get your bearings with a wander along the banks of the Yarra River on the Southbank Promenade. Dinner will be served at Melbourne’s Crown Casino and the Kitchen Workshop. Eat your fill from a grand buffet of salads, soups, meat and hot meals and of course, a decadent dessert counter! Later, you may wish to explore the Crown Casino, it’s only a 10-minute walk back to the hotel. Meals: LD

Day 2: Tuesday 24 March 2019
Melbourne Sights

After breakfast depart on a guided coach tour of Melbourne. See Fitzroy Gardens and Captain Cook’s Cottage, pass Queen Victoria Markets, the Albert Park Formula 1 Grand Prix race track, Federation Square, the Shrine of Remembrance and St Paul’s Cathedral. Later, enjoy an informative guided tour of the Old Melbourne Gaol and hear stories of Ned Kelly’s last days and other colourful stories dating back to the first hangings in 1842. Those who are well behaved enough to released from the Gaol will spend the afternoon on a relaxing cruise of the Yarra River. Meander past Melbourne’s CBD and discover one of the busiest trading ports in the Southern hemisphere; Victoria Docks. Uncover a snapshot of the rich maritime heritage of Melbourne. Tonight enjoy delicious Tasmanian cuisine and Yarra River views at Pure South dining. Then, after dinner, feast your eyes on the glittering skyline of Melbourne from the Eureka Tower. Ascend to 285 metres above ground in the fastest elevator in the Southern Hemisphere in a journey which only takes 38 seconds. Enjoy floor-to-ceiling, 360-degree views of Melbourne and catch the last rays of the setting sun. Meals: BD

Day 3: Wednesday 25 March 2020
Puffing Billy and Cuckoo Restaurant - Dandenong Ranges

Today leave the hustle and bustle of the city behind and head into the Dandenong Ranges. At Belgrave Station, board the famous Puffing Billy steam train for some old-fashioned fun and scenic hinterland views. As the train travels through the Sherbrooke Forest and over the 91.4 metre long Trestle Bridge over Monbulk Creek to Lakeside Station. After your rail journey, you'll continue to the Bavarian Cuckoo Restaurant for Lunch. This tantalising 4-course buffet offers mouthwatering culinary delights and impressive musical entertainment and sing-along. Later, walk off your lunch with a visit to the amazing William Ricketts Sanctuary. Discover incredibly lifelike sculptures set within lush green rainforest; the perfect setting for the blending of the natural and spiritual realms.  Dinner tonight will be at La Camera, a famous local Italian Restaurant located just a few minutes’ walk away from your accommodation. Day 4: Thursday 26 March 2020
Melbourne International Flower Show

Every year Melbourne farewells the summer by putting on a beautiful showcase of everything floral and garden; the Melbourne International Flower and Garden Show. Discover everything new and happening in the world of flowers, plants, gardens and landscaping. Witness live flower arranging and see the impressive works in floral and garden competitions. This show is ranked among the top five garden shows in the world and attracts people from around the globe. The venue speaks for itself: The Royal Exhibition Building is a world heritage listed site providing the perfect backdrop for the prestigious show. Carlton Gardens transform to offer a perfect outdoor setting for sculptures, display gardens and presentations by gardening celebrities. Tonight, you'll dine in style at Melbourne’s premier dining experience; Melba Restaurant. Named after Melbourne's world-famous opera performer - Dame Nellie Melba, who, in her time, enjoyed a long and well-deserved reputation for tasteful performances. Feast from an endless buffet of fresh and delicious food featuring roast meats, soups, salads, sushi, seafood and desserts to die for! Eat until you’re satisfied and then take the very short walk back to your hotel. Meals: BLD

Day 5:  Friday 27 March 2020
Melbourne – Brisbane/Toowoomba

After breakfast farewell the city of Melbourne and depart Melbourne Airport for your flight home. Guests returning to Toowoomba will meet Stonestreets at Wellcamp airport for transfers back to Toowoomba. Meals: B
