Affectionately said to go from ‘nowhere to nowhere’, the Heritage Listed Normanton to Croydon line was never connected to the state rail network and remains the only line in Queensland still measured in miles. This morning, join the regular Saturday Billy Tea and Damper Tour from Normanton to Critters Camp. Afterwards, re-board the 4WD Coach and head south along the Burke Development Road to Burke & Wills Roadhouse for lunch. From here, turn west to Gregory Downs. Cross over the Gregory River and arrive at Adels Grove for the next 2 nights.
