Day 1: Thursday 5 September 2019
Home – Perth
Arrive in Perth by mid-afternoon and meet your coach and crew and transferred to your accommodation in the city. After check-in, you may like to wander along the Swan River to the Bell tower and Elizabeth Quay. Meals: D

Day 2: Friday 6 September 2019
Perth and Fremantle sights
See the highlights of Perth today including a visit to Kings Park for stunning views over the city and Swan River. View the stunning bloosm of the annual wildflower Festival before heading into the city to see the WACCA grounds, historic Perth Mint and the Bell Tower. See the newly developed Elizabeth Quay and then depart for some free time to explore and dine in Fremantle, before boarding the famous Fremantle Tram. This a 1-hour ride takes in many of the historic highlights of Fremantle. Finish the day with a relaxing cruise along the Swan River from Fremantle back to Perth. Meals: BD

Day 3: Saturday 7 September 2019
Mandurah and Busselton
Depart Perth for WA’s second largest city, Mandurah on the magnificent Harvey Estuary and Peel Inlet. Follow the Old Coast Road past the lakes area to Australind. Stop  here to visit tiny St Nicholas Church; the smallest church ever built in WA. Take a short drive into the City of Bunbury for lunch, before a drive through the Ludlow State Forest; famous for its Tuart Trees and white lilies. Board the Busselton Jetty Train for a 1.7km ride to the Underwater Observatory where you’ll descend 8 metres beneath the water’s surface to view more than 300 individual marine species in their natural habitat. Day 4: Sunday 8 September 2019
Margaret River Region
Today, enjoy a guided one-hour tour of the breathtaking Jewel Cave. See towering crystal creations that have taken thousands of years to form, and intricate decorations stretching, suspended across the ceiling, such as vines and dancing cobwebs. Enjoy lunch in Augusta, then visit Cape Leeuwin, the South Western tip of WA where the Indian and Southern Oceans meet. See the historic Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse and calcified waterwheel, then, visit a local winery to sample some products of the famous Margaret River region. Returning Abbey Beach Resort for the evening. Meals: BLD

Day 5: Monday 9 September 2019
Manjimup, Pemberton Tramway & Gloucester Tree
Delve into the heart of the South West’s Timber Country through the Jarrahwood and Nannup State Forests to Manjimup. Explore Manjimup Timber and Heritage Park before arriving in Pemberton for lunch. Later, join the Pemberton Tramway Company, a privately-operated tourist railway, which travels through deep forests and picturesque countryside, as well as recreating the history of the timber railways that were so important to the region’s development and growth. Finish the day with a visit to the Gloucester Tree where you have the opportunity to climb into the canopy of this giant karri tree for spectacular views of the surrounding Karri forest. Meals: BLD

Day 6: Tuesday 10 September 2019

ilderness Cruise and Valley of the Giants
From Pemberton, travel deeper into the South West’s Karri and Jarrah forests to Walpole where you'll enjoy a an informative 2 ½ hour cruise on the beautiful and unique waterways of the Walpole and Nornalup Inlets Marine Park. Travel to the Nuyts Wilderness, WA's first Wilderness Zone. You’ll have an option to walk into the wilderness area to a secluded beach on the Southern Ocean. After lunch, visit the Valley of the Giants Wilderness Discovery Centre and the Treetop Walk, one the most visited places in South West Western Australia. Travel through beautiful Denmark before arriving into Albany, your base for the next 2 nights. Meals: BLD

Day 7: Wednesday 11 September 2019
Whale Watching Cruise & National Anzac Centre
Start the day with a scenic sightseeing tour of Albany, see Middleton Beach, King Sound and the town centre before joining Albany Ocean Adventures for a 2 ½ hour Whale Watching Cruise on King Sound. Here both Humpback and Southern Right Whales shelter in the calm waters off Albany during their migrating season each year. Enjoy some lunch in town and a stroll along the main street, then visit Albany’s newest attraction, the National Anzac Centre. Situated on Mount Clarence with spectacular views over King Sound, the National Anzac Centre is an award-winning facility that uses multimedia, interactive technology and historical artifacts to create deeply personal connections the ANZACs. Exhibits pay tribute to those who served and continue to serve in the ADF. To finish the day, take a scenic drive into Torndirrup National Park to visit the natural attractions like The Gap, Natural Bridge, The Blowholes and Jimmy Newells Boat Harbour. Meals: BD

Day 8: Thursday 12 September 2019
Stirling Ranges & Wave Rock

Travel north to the Stirling Ranges, visit Bluff Knoll the third highest and one of the most spectacular peaks in Western Australia. The area features abundant wildflowers, birdlife, reptiles, and exceptional scenery with views of the Stirling Ranges and its geological formations. Continue north through the wheat areas to Lake Grace for lunch, then on to Hyden. This afternoon a local guide will shows you one of WA’s most famous landmarks – Wave Rock. Learn about the geological and historical importance of this well-known attraction, then head back to Hyden for the night. Meals: BLD

Day 9: Friday 13 September 2019
Esperance Region
Heading South today, travel through Lake King to the former gold-mining town of Ravensthorpe. From here it’s east to beautiful Esperance situated on Esperance Bay and the Bay of Isles. Enjoy some free time for lunch and a walk around town, then, spend the afternoon taking in some of the local sights. From Rotary lookout you’ll see across the bay to Cape Le Grand National Park as well as the Esperance town and jetty. On Twilight Beach Road, see Blue Haven Beach, Twilight Bay and Twilight Cove as well as Ten Mile Lagoon Wind Farm and Esperance Pink Lake. Meals: BD

Day 10: Saturday 14 September 2019
Cape Le Grand & Esperance Stonehenge
Just a short distance from Esperance is Cape Le Grand National Park, with spectacular coastal headlands, abundant wildlife and some of the best beaches in the world. This morning, visit Cape Le Grand Beach, Frenchman’s Cap, Lucky Bay and Whistling Rock. After lunch in the park, head to Esperance Stonehenge which is a full-size replica of the original Stonehenge in the UK, as it would have looked around 1950BC. Mid-afternoon return to your central accommodation in Esperance to enjoy some leisure time. Meals: BLD

Day 11: Sunday 15 September 2019
Kalgoorlie Sights and the Super Pit
Travel north through Salmon Gum country to the town of Norseman which was named for a horse that reputedly kicked at a large gold nugget, thereby leading to the discovery of gold in the region. After a morning stop, pass by the large Salt Lake of Lake Cowan before arriving in Kalgoorlie for lunch at Paddy’s Exchange Hotel. Spend the afternoon with a local guide exploring Kalgoorlie-Boulder where you will uncover the hidden secrets of past and present and see the intriguing and unique places that will leave you inspired and in awe. You’ll also visit Historic Hannan and Burt Streets, the old Bush Two Up Ring and the Super Pit lookout. Meals: BLD

Day 12: Monday 16 September 2019
Kalgoorlie – Home
Sadly, today is the last day together on your South West Wonders tour – transfer to Kalgoorlie airport where your tour concludes. Flights back to the East Coast or your onwards destination and airport transfers can be arranged on request. Meals: B
