Day 1:Sunday 30 September 2018 Toowoomba/Sydney/Sea Princess

Your exciting cruise holiday starts with a morning transfer to either Wellcamp or Brisbane Airport for a flight to Sydney. Transfer to the cruise terminal, check-in then board the Sea Princess and settle in to your state room prior to a late lunch in either Horizon Court buffet or the International Café. Head out on to the decks as the Sea Princess sets sails at 4:00pm, what better way to start your cruise than with the magical experience of sailing out of Sydney Harbour, through Sydney Heads and out to sea. Tonight enjoy the sliver service in one of the traditional dining rooms then catch a show before retiring for the night. Meals: LD   

 

Day 2:Monday 1 October 2018   Sea Princess at Sea

A relaxing day at sea today as you sail down the New South Wales Coast on your first full day at sea. Set out and explore the Sea Princess, with 15 decks there’s plenty to see and do on-board. Enjoy the daily scheduled activities on-board or relax on deck around one of the pools and maybe catch a movie in your state room. Meals: BLD   

 

Day 3:Tuesday 2 October 2018    Melbourne

Your first port of call is Melbourne, Victoria’s beautiful capital. There are many shore excursions to choose from today ranging from 3 hours to 8 hours, or perhaps you might like to set out and explore on your own. Whatever you decide today Melbourne has so much to offer you’ll love you day in the state capital. Meals: BLD

 

Day 4:Wednesday 3 October 2018  Burnie

After crossing Bass Straight last night the Sea Princess has now arrived in Tasmania and the northern Port of Burnie. Today you might like to join the very popular tour to Tasmania’s Cradle Mountain, a stunning national park that is part of the Tasmanian World Heritage Wilderness Area. Witnessing the rugged beauty of its towering peaks reflected in the surface of Dove Lake is reason enough to go! There are however many other options available for a shorter tour along Tasmania’s Northern coastal towns. Meals: BLD

 

Day 5:Thursday 4 October 2018 Hobart

Discover Tasmania’s Capital city, with more than 90 National Trust Building dating back to 1804 and the stunning backdrop of Mt Wellington this is a city of rare beauty. Again today you may like to join one of the optional shore tours, visit the historical Port Arthur site, or maybe step back in time to the convict days at Richmond or travel through some absolutely stunning scenery through the Huon Valley. The Sea Princess is in Hobart until late into the evening so make the most of your day, maybe even take in the thrilling Hobart Ghost Walking Tour before returning to the ship. Meals: BLD

 

Day 6: Friday 5 October 2018  Sea Princess – at sea

A chance to recharge the batteries today after 3 big days on sightseeing in Victoria and Tasmania. The Sea Princess is now heading South Australia’s Capital. Relax on-board today, maybe a spot of trivia or bingo or perhaps join one of the enrichment classes. Meals: BLD

Day 7:Saturday 6 October 2018   Adelaide

Arrive in the City of Churches around lunch time today and head out to explore this delightful city and the surrounding areas. Shore tours on offer today include Adelaide sightseeing, the, historic German inspired village of Hahndorf and the wine regions of both McLaren Vale and the Barossa Valley. The Sea Princess is in port until late evening so set out and enjoy your time in Adelaide. Meals: BLD

  

Day 8:Sunday 7 October 2018 Sea Princess – at sea

Over the next few days cruise through the Southern Ocean and along the Great Australian Bight making your way west. Enjoy the many scheduled on-board activities or perhaps relax in the library or head to the casino and your luck.Meals: BLD

Day 9: Monday 8 October 2018 Sea Princess – at sea

Another day at sea cruising through the Southern Ocean as you head towards Albany in Western Australia. A chance for a leisurely day relaxing, reading or catching up on some movies. Tonight after dinner head to the Princess Theatre for another Broadway Style show. Meals: BLD

Day 10:Tuesday 9 October 2018 Albany

Welcome to the port of Albany in Western Australia’s scenic South West. This area is famous for its tall timber today you have an opportunity to head to the Valley of the Giants and experience the Tree Top Walk. Another fascinating tour will be to the National Anzac Centre as it was from Albany that our troops departed for Gallipoli in 1914. Albany’s history was in Whaling so maybe you’d like to visit Whale World today on a guided shore tour. Meals: BLD

 

Day 11: Wednesday 10 October 2018 Margaret River

Today arrive in Margaret River, an area famous for surfing, food and wine and limestone caves natural beauty. Choose a shore excursion to Geographe Bay and see the beautiful beaches first hand. Maybe head south to the caves area and head underground on a truly unique experience, or visit one of the many wineries to sample the local vintage. Meals: BLD

 

Day 12:Thursday 11 October 2018  Perth

Fremantle is our next port of call and there is plenty to see and do around Perth. Tours include Perth highlights and features time in beautiful Kings Park, maybe just join a Historic Fremantle tour or go further afield and head to the Swan Valley wineries north to the Painted Desert and the Pinnacles. If you prefer to do your own thing the ship ties up close to the town centre and Fremantle railway station, so hop off and explore this great region. Meals: BLD

 

Day 13:Friday 12 October 2018 Sea Princess – at Sea

Over the next 3 days we sail north towards the port of Broome, so time to relax and enjoy the on-board facilities of this fine ship. Don’t forget that there are many activities throughout the day and Broadway style shows each night. Meals: BLD

 

Day 14:Saturday 13 October 2018 Sea Princess - at Sea

Another day to relax and unwind at the Sea Princess makes her way north. As you head towards the tropical north Australia maybe relax around one of the pools today and catch a movie under the starts tonight. Meals: BLD

 

Day 15:Sunday 14 October 2018 Sea Princess - at Sea

Continue north towards Broome, catch up with your new friends over a cuppa or perhaps relax in your stateroom whilst enjoying an in house movie. Meals: BLD

Day 16:Monday 15 October 2018  Broome

After today we can finally tick Broome off the ‘Bucket List’. You’ll love your visit here to the tropical northern Western Australian Port. The colours of the area are so contrasting between the red sandy soils white sandy beaches and endless blue seas and skies! Maybe today head to beautiful Cable Beach, you might even like to have a camel ride whist here or perhaps buy a ticket on the Broome Top Deck bus tour and check out the sights of this frontier town including Chinatown. Meals: BLD

Day 17:Tuesday 16 October 2018 Kimberley Coast Scenic Cruising

This afternoon we cruise along the very scenic Kimberley Coast. Approaching the Kimberley Coast from the Indian Ocean, you'll make out dramatic red cliffs that stand out in stark contrast to the aquamarine waters of the fringing reefs below. More than 2,600 islands are scattered beyond the reefs, serving as nesting grounds to a variety of seabirds, including cormorants, giant Australian pelicans and Red-footed Boobies. The islands also provide breathtaking scenery in one of the world's most extensive coastal wilderness areas - and the best way to take it all in is from the sea. Meals: BLD

 

Day 18:Wednesday 17 October 2018 Sea Princess - at Sea

Another day relaxing at sea as the Sea Princess makes its way to Darwin and the Top End. Another chance to catch up with friends, grab a book from the library or join one of the daily activities. Meals: BLD

Day 19:Thursday 18 October 2018  Darwin, Australia

Welcome to the Top End and Darwin, a beautiful city that has withstood both man and Mother Nature. Today leave of the challenges this city faced during World War II and again in 1974 when Cyclone Tracey struck the city. There are plenty of shore excursions to choose from here ranging from a few hours to all day tours. If you prefer explore Darwin on your own – the local tub bus or Explore bus is a great way to see the city sights. Meals: BLD

Day 20:Friday 19 October 2018  Sea Princess – at Sea

Today the Sea Princess now heads through the Gulf of Carpentaria and passes between Cape York and Papua New Guinea as she makes her way to the Queensland port of Cairns. Meals: BLD

Day 21:Saturday 20 October 2018 Sea Princess - at Sea

Sail south down the Queensland Coastline today to the east of the Great Barrier Reef. Keep an eye out for the small isolated tropical islands and coral cays. Meals: BLD

Day 22:Sunday 21 October 2018  Cairns

Welcome to Tropical North Queensland where the Rainforests meet the Great Barrier Reef. The Sea Princess is in port until early evening so make the most of your day a and join a tour to the Great Barrier Reef or head in to the Mountains to Kuranda to explore this village in the rainforest. Other options include a trip on the Kuranda Scenic Railway, you could even combine this with a trip on the Kuranda Sky Way Cable car. Meals: BLD

Day 23:Monday 22 October 2018Sea Princess - at Sea

Change direction today and head north towards our international port of call in Papua New Guinea. Meals: BLD

Day 24:Tuesday 23 October 2018 Alotau, Papua New Guinea

Alotau, an undiscovered paradise of white-sand beaches, crystal waterfalls and volcanic mountains. Today you can experience anything from a traditional cooking class to cultural experiences or hear about the military history of the area. Meals: BLD

Day 25:Wednesday 24 October 2018 Sea Princess – at sea

Heading south again we set sail towards Brisbane so another chance over the next couple of day to relax and unwind as you continue your cruise around Australia. Meals: BLD

Day 26: Thursday 25 October 2018Sea Princess – at sea Sail down the Queensland Coast towards Brisbane, another day at sea and another chance to join in the many scheduled activities and live shows, maybe try your luck in the Casino. Meals: BLD

Day 27:Friday 26 October 2018 Brisbane Visit Brisbane today, perhaps head out and explore the city on your own or maybe join an optional tour or just relax on board and enjoy the ships facilities. Meals: BLD

Day 28:Saturday 27 October 2018Sea Princess - at Sea

Your final day at sea, make the most of the on-board facilities throughout the day and tonight enjoy farewell dinner in one of the restaurants and then finish with Broadway style show in the Princess Theatre. Meals: BLD

Day 29:Sunday 28 October 2018 Sydney-Toowoomba The Sea Princess arrives in Sydney around 7:00am, enjoy breakfast then disembark the ship and transfer to the Sydney Airport for your flight back to Toowoomba (Brisbane flights may be necessary depending on flight schedules).
