Day 1: Friday 23 August 2019:
Danggu (Geikie) Gorge Cruise – Broome

Arrival in Broome and meet your coach and crew for an orientation tour enroute to your accommodation near Cable Beach. Meals: D

Day 2: Saturday 24 August 2019:
Broome Free Day
Today has been left free for you to explore or pursue your own personal interests for the day. Perhaps you’d like to join a full day tour to see the Horizontal Waterfalls, take a camel ride on Cable Beach, visit a Pearl Farm, ride a hovercraft on Roebuck Bay or explore Chinatown. Whatever you decide Stonestreets Travel can make all the arrangements for you. Meals: B

Day 3: Sunday 25 August 2019: 
Broome sights
Today, enjoy a half day sightseeing tour of Broome, see Chinatown and the old Sun Picture Theatre, Roebuck Bay, and Streeters Jetty, pass the Broome Courthouse and visit one of Broome’s Churches famous for its Mother of Pearl altar. See the port of Broome and visit Gantheaume Point where you’ll get a great photo of Cable Beach and the contrasting colours of the red pindan cliffs, white sandy beach and clear blue skies. Spend a free afternoon relaxing at your beautiful resort ahead of the next leg of your journey. Meals BD

Day 4: Monday 26 August 2019: 
Broome – Eighty Mile Beach – Port Hedland
Leave the West Kimberley region behind and travel south through some of the most remote country in Australia. The drive today takes you along the western extremity of the Great Sandy Desert to Sandfire Roadhouse for lunch, aptly named because of the fiery red sand dunes in the area. This afternoon visit beautiful Eighty Mile Beach, the longest uninterrupted beach in Western Australia that actually extends for some 220km. Continue south past Pardoo Station and over the De Grey River where you’ll soon see evidence of the vast mining operations of the Pilbara region. Before arriving in Port Hedland stop at Redbank Bridge lookout. See evaporation lakes and the huge stockpile of salt along with the massive Iron ore trains either passing or parked near the port facilities. Meals: BLD

Day 5: Tuesday 27 August 2019: 
Karijini National Park
Today will begin with a sightseeing tour of Port Hedland stopping at the port area to see the massive Iron ore ships being loaded, whilst dozens more carriers sit idle at sea waiting their turn to load. Departing Port Hedland and pass by the BHP facilities, before heading for the heart of the Pilbara region and Karijini National Park. The Karijini Visitor Centre highlights the story of the area that you'll explore. Depart for Dales Gorge and Fortescue Falls for fabulous views into the 100-meter-deep gorge, where Fortescue Falls permanently cascades down the rich red rocks. Visit Oxer Lookout and be inspired by unsurpassed views over the junction of Weano, Red, Hancock and Joffre gorges. Tiers of banded iron formations tower over a pool at the bottom of the gorge and are a sight to behold. Tonight, stay within the depths of Karijini National Park, walking distance of Joffre Gorge at Karijini Eco Retreat.  Meals: BLD

Day 6: Wednesday 28 August 2019:
Tom Price Mine Tour – Karratha
Today you’ll be amazed by the enormity of Rio Tinto's open cut iron-ore mine on a 1 ½ hour tour which will take you into the heart of the Tom Price Rio Tinto mine site operation. See the Haul Truck workshop and main pit area as well as working haul trucks, shovel, drills and the crushing and screening plants, plus the train load-out facility.  Note: closed in footwear is required on this tour.  This afternoon hit the rugged outback roads through Millstream-Chichester National Park to the North West coastal town of Karratha. Meals: BLD

Day 7: Thursday 29 August 2019:
Karratha – Exmouth
Today begins with a sightseeing tour of Karratha which was established in the late 1960’s as the accommodation hub for Hammersley Iron Ore’s nearby processing plant. Close by is the port of Dampier another purpose-built town, this time the export hub for the Rio Tinto Iron Ore Mines, LNG and Salt. After spending some time in both Karratha and Dampier, depart and travel south along the North West Coastal Highway to Nanutarra Roadhouse for lunch. This afternoon, continue south then west through Giralia sheep station to the North West Cape and Exmouth. Meals: BD

Day 8: Friday 30 August 2019: 
Vlamingh Head & Coral Bay cruise

Explore the North West Cape region this morning and enjoy the views from Vlamingh Head Lighthouse. See the Harold E Holt Communications base that is visible from space! Visit site of the wreck of the SS Mildura before passing the Exmouth Marina, Canal development and RAAF Learmonth before arriving in Coral Bay. It’s not hard to see why so many visitors fall in love with Coral Bay, a laid-back atmosphere, beautiful white sandy beaches, the nearby Ningaloo reef and year-round near perfect weather. Enjoy some free time here for lunch and to have look around the shops, or perhaps enjoy a swim in the crystal blue waters. Later board the Sub-Sea Explorer and sit below the water line for a fascinating cruise with coral, fish and marine life viewing. Mid-afternoon depart Coral Bay via the main coastal highway to Carnarvon. Meals: BD

Day 9: Saturday 31 August 2019
Carnarvon Sights, Hamelin Pool Telegraph Station, Monkey Mia
The area around the Carnarvon region is very desolate, however the Gascoyne River provides a life-line to the region with many farms lining the banks of the river. These dedicated farmers grow cavendish bananas, tomatoes and mangos. See one Mile Jetty, Babbage Island and the old Carnarvon NASA Space Tracking Station before departing for Hamelin Pool Telegraph Station. Enjoy a fascinating tour discovering the history of the Telegraph Station. Within the museum a guide will explain the significance of relics from the days when the station was fully operational. After lunch visit Hamelin Pool and the Stromatolites. These ancient structures are examples of what life on Earth was like 3.5 billion years ago and are considered "living fossils". From here the next stop will be Shell Beach - a beach that is literally made up of millions of tiny shells. Visit the most westerly town in Australia – Denham, before arriving at Monkey Mia Resort. Meals: BLD

Day 10: Sunday 1 September 2019
Monkey Mia
Today has been left free for you to explore your own personal interests but don’t forget to meet the dolphins! For more than 50 years wild Indo-Pacific bottlenose dolphins have visited the shallows at Monkey Mia making the oddly named towns famous for one of the world’s greatest wildlife experiences. The dolphins attract more than 100,000 visitors a year! You may choose to relax at the resort to unwind and recharge the batteries, or maybe you’d prefer to join one of the marine life cruises that explore the World Heritage Area. Cruises depart either mid-morning or mid-afternoon for approximately 2 hours, or you can choose the late afternoon sunset cruise. Meals: B

Day 11: Monday 2 September 2019:
Kalbarri National Park
Return to the North West Coastal Highway en route to beautiful Kalbarri National Park which is famous for its spring wildflowers. Visit Hawks Head for views over the Murchison River and valley, then, enjoy a picnic lunch in the park before viewing the major natural attraction in the park – Nature’s Window. This iconic attraction is a wind-eroded opening in the layered sandstone that frames a view of the river. From here, travel through the town of Kalbarri to view the coastal attractions within the National Park. Stop at several of the lookouts including Natural Bridge, Island Rock and Eagle Gorge, plus stop to view where the Murchison River enters the Indian Ocean. Meals: BLD

Day 12: Tuesday 3 September 2019
Geraldton, Nambung National Park and Pinnacle Desert
Travel along the coastal road past Pink Lake near Port Gregory to Northhampton and Geraldton. Enjoy a sightseeing tour of Geraldton by coach including a visit to the HMAS Sydney II Memorial. After some free time in town for lunch, continue south through Port Denison to the very scenic Indian Ocean Drive and through Leeman and Jurien Bay to Cervantes and the Pinnacle Desert. With thousands of ancient limestone pillars rising from a stark landscape of the yellow sand within Nambung National Park, you’ll witness one of Australia’s most intriguing landscapes. In places, the pinnacles reach up to 3.5m tall. Some are jagged, sharp-edged columns, rising to a point, while others resemble tombstones. Meals: BLD

Day 13: Wednesday 4 September 2019
New Norcia & Kings Park
Leave the coast behind this morning and head east into Western Australia’s Wheatbelt Region to Moora. Just a short distance to the south is the Benedictine Monastery town of New Norcia where you’ll enjoy a guided sightseeing tour of the historic town and its some of its buildings. Before leaving, enjoy lunch at the majestic two-storey New Norcia Hotel which was built in 1927, originally as a hostel for parents of the boarders in New Norcia College.

The final part of your journey to Perth travels through the beautiful Swan Valley, one of Western Australia’s premier wine growing regions. Arrive at Kings Park mid-afternoon and enjoy the annual Kings Park Festival where thousands of extraordinary wildflowers from all over state of can be seen blooming in one place. (Wildflowers are subject to seasonal conditions). Late afternoon check- in to your Perth accommodation for the final night of the tour.

Day 14: Thursday 5 September 2019:
After breakfast, enjoy a brief sightseeing tour of Perth, then sadly your tour concludes. Say farewell to your fellow passengers as you depart for your next destination. 

Passengers with pre-arranged flights to Brisbane will be transferred to Perth Airport. In Brisbane, passengers with arranged airport transfers will meet a Stonestreets representative at the luggage carousel in Brisbane Airport before the transfer back to Toowoomba. Meals: B
